Terms of sale and licence
Draft – to be reviewed before the first sale.
Who we are
Automation Tools Lab is the trading name of Oleksandr Ivko, sole trader, Ireland ("we"), who makes LogixTrack and the other programs on this site. Contact: [email protected].
Purchase
Our programs are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as reseller and merchant of record: the contract of sale is with Lemon Squeezy, which takes the payment, charges VAT where it applies and issues the invoice. Their terms apply to the purchase in addition to these.
Licence
- A licence is for one named user and may be activated on up to two computers at a time.
- It is a one-time purchase without expiry. It includes all updates of the major version bought (for example every LogixTrack 3.x release). A later major version may be offered as a paid upgrade.
- You may move an activation to another computer by deactivating it first.
- You may not resell, sublicense, or share the licence key, nor circumvent the activation.
- The trial is for evaluation: 30 days from the first start, with all features.
What LogixTrack needs and does
LogixTrack uses the Logix Designer SDK installed on your computer. Studio 5000 Logix Designer and the Logix Designer SDK are products of Rockwell Automation, Inc., licensed separately; LogixTrack does not include them. LogixTrack reads your project files and, if you turn it on, reads projects from controllers; it does not write to your projects or to controllers.
Warranty and liability
LogixTrack is a tool to help you keep track of changes. Always check a change in Logix Designer before relying on it, in particular before downloading to a controller. To the extent the law allows, LogixTrack is provided "as is", and our liability is limited to the price paid. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland.
